BAM! got it! Just had to remove the conditional statement from the UpdatePanel that I had slipped in during some trial and error efforts to get all this running smoothly.

Man I'm good! Got the Html Editor loading dynmically. Initial page size went from 640KB back down to 70KB. Slow load is made palletable with a nice progress animated gif.

Just when you think you have it all figured out, an old problem comes back. Got the nice fast loads and the progress image for the slow stuff, now the comments aren't reloading after adding a new comment.

The person that wrote this control should have seperated the code into a script link so it wouldn't have to download with each post back!
