We utilize roaming profiles. When logging on, one of our users got this message, with this as well: Windows cannot copy file \\server\path\Tracing\WPPMedia\Communicator_MediaStack.etl to location C:\Documents and Settings\user\Tracing\WPPMedia\Communicator_MediaStack.etl.
The file had become locked on the network share. We needed to use a free File Unlocker utility to unlock the file. Then we renamed the roaming/network profile to name.old. Deleted the user's local profile on the computer, then had them log on.
Issue is now gone.
